House sit 19 was located a short 10 minute walk from the beach. The street was incredibly quiet, I know people often claim they live on a quiet street but this was by far the quietest street I’ve ever been on.
Upon arrival I was greeted by the neighbour across the road that introduced himself and let me know if there was anything I needed they were only a door knock away. I entered the home and little Maggie the brown lab was frantically wagging her tail at the door waiting for me to open it and let her inside. Maggie is 8 months old and full of energy, she loves showing people her toys. Each time I let her inside she goes to find a toy to bring it in.
Each room of the house is complimented with paintings that the owner has created and it’s clear that she has a great talent and passion for creating such masterpieces. It’s easy to get lost in the paintings and drift away into a day dream about the landscape in which she has replicated.
Maggie being a puppy was a boisterous little girl that loved to follow you from room to room and thought it was a game when it was time to go to bed. I soon worked out the way to lure her to bed was with a small treat. She has such a big happy personality and I’ll miss her bounding energy and love for playing games.
